ATRS™ - Automated Transport and Retrieval System™

The Automated Transport and Retrieval System (ATRS™) is the 21st century vehicle mobility solution for power wheelchair users who can transfer. The ATRS is designed to allow power wheelchair users to independently transport themselves and their power wheelchairs into and out of a wide range of vehicles, including SUV's, pickup trucks and minivans. ATRS utilizes the Freedom Seat™, the Tracker™ Freedom Lift with Dock'N'Lock™ and the FDA approved Freedom Motion Control Module (MCM).

Unlike lowered floor minivans, ATRS is installed without any structural modifications made to the host vehicle. You now have more vehicle choices, like SUV's - and you also have leasing options since the ATRS can easily be transferred to other vehicles.

ATRS enables a wheelchair user to transfer from the wheelchair to the Freedom Seat and then remotely direct the wheelchair to autonomously dock on the platform lift located at the rear of the vehicle. When the user would like to exit the vehicle, the user can retrieve the power wheel chair remotely to transfer from the Freedom Seat to their wheelchair. ATRS can be used for either a driver or passenger who uses a power wheelchair.
